I'm not going to DesignerCon this year but my custom flower vase will be there as a part of Playing With Wood 2: A Custom Vase Show curated by Knocks on Wood.
This is a group show with unique shaped wooden flower vases customized by artists.
All wood is sourced from Street Tree Revival, a company that works to rescue trees/wood destined for the landfill and give it a second life.

水野は今年のデザイナーコンに参加できないのですが、水野がカスタムした木製の花瓶が、Knocks on Woodのキュレーションによるグループ展「Playing With Wood 2: A Custom Vase Show」にて展示販売されます。
アーティストがカスタマイズした、それぞれ形の違う木製花瓶のグループ展です。
木材は全て、廃棄される木を再利用する会社Street Tree Revivalからの提供です。

This is the first show of my tarot project displaying the first 20 card designs.
I'm planning to design all 78 cards in the next few years and finally make them into an actual tarot deck once they are all done.

The first 20 drawings that I did for my tarot deck project will be on display and available for sale at Gallery Nucleus in LA tomorrow (November 25th).
We are not doing a talk this time but I'll be at the opening reception from 5-8 PM so please feel free to talk to me, ask me questions and bring the stuff you want me to sign on.
There will be new art prints available as well.

I had fun drawing the main character Clelia in the '80s Japanese idol style.

プリント＆デジタルコミックの新しい出版社、DSTLRYより12月20日に発売される、Mirka Andolfo作のホラーコメディ・コミック「Blasfamous」のためのヴァリアント・カバーを描きました。
今回はメインキャラクターの人気歌手Cleliaを、最近人気の’80年代イラスト風に仕上げてみました。
‘73年生まれの私にとっては、お店に並ぶ可愛いパステル調の小物に心踊らせた懐かしい時代です。

PURE TRANCE
Following the Third World War, humankind left the toxic surface of the Earth and built an underground city to survive. A serious social problem has emerged in this new society: hyperorexia, or severe overeating, a side effect of the “Pure Trance” life-sustaining pill.
