Thank you very much to everyone who visited the group exhibition “MANGAKA-E 漫画家･絵 展” held at the Isetan Shinjuku Art Gallery last December, and to those who purchased my work there.
It had been a long time since I last exhibited in Japan and while I felt a bit nervous, I was really happy that my two original pencil drawings found their new owners. I am deeply grateful for the warm comments and messages I received from visitors.
The framed giclée prints shown in the exhibition are now available through the Submarine Gallery online store.

Birth of Paradise (2025)
A woman immersed in the bliss of creation — giving birth to snakes, trees, eggs, buildings, fish, and humans. This piece was inspired by Accouchement rose / Pink Birth (1964), a powerful work by my favorite artist, Niki de Saint Phalle. I was lucky enough to see the original in person once, and was completely overwhelmed by its scale and presence.

Nucleus Portland has created a special series of art scrolls inspired by nostalgic anime wall scrolls.
My contribution features the image from 2001 with Julie, the main character from my graphic novel Princess Mermaid.

SNAKE MOTHER 12.0" x 15.2" (image size) : This artwork was made for egg-themed group show Ovum in 2017. Snake mother is celebrating the birth of her babies with the three nannies ready to take care of the tiny snakes.
We decided to make it into a print as the character appears again in my latest tarot art show as Page of Coins.
THE MAGICIAN 7.0" x 12.0" (image size) : One of the new pieces from my latest tarot show meaning manifestation, creator, power, inspired action, etc.
The witch character in this piece was first created in 2014 for the Halloween page of SOL, a 12-page art print set inspired by seasonal events. The tiny girl is a former spider turned into an assistant by the witch’s magic.
TEMPERANCE 7.0" x 12.0" (image size) : One of the new pieces from my latest tarot show meaning balance, moderation, patience, purpose, etc.
The goddess in this piece is originally from the Chocolate painting in my 2020 food-themed show. Chocolate helps me focus on work but I often end up eating it too much. I put her on a Temperance card to remind me to stay moderate.

One is for King Buzzo & Trevor Dunn / JD Pinkus' August 6th show and the other one is for Dale Crover Band / Rob Crow's August 26th show.
