PURE TRANCE
Following the Third World War, humankind left the toxic surface of the Earth and built an underground city to survive. A serious social problem has emerged in this new society: hyperorexia, or severe overeating, a side effect of the “Pure Trance” life-sustaining pill.
The story begins in a hospital which has been ruined by a tyrannical director, Keiko Yamazaki. The nurses who toil under Keiko’s whip are regular girls, just like your friends and co-workers.
Yet this is no soap opera! It is a dreamy science fiction fantasy — a twisted story of catfights, alien safari adventures, evil experimentation, and a girl in love with a pop idol singer.

Ingrid has her suspicions about who the real murderer is, but even as she pursues the truth, she’s pursued herself by a shadowy figure. It's been in the list of my dream projects for a long time and I'm finally working on it now!
I'm drawing all 78 tarot cards and making them into an actual deck once they are all done.
Each card will have the characters that have appeared in my works (Comics, paintings, toys, gig posters etc.) over the years.
The first batch of the drawings will be on view at Gallery Nucleus in LA from November 25th.
I'm planning to do a few more shows like this until I finish all the designs.

水野の長年の夢だったタロット企画がついに始動！
水野の過去作品（漫画、ペインティング、フィギュア、ギグポスターなど）に登場したキャラクター達を使って、タロットカード78枚全てのデザインを完成させる企画。
今後2、3年制作を続け、個展で原画を発表しつつ、全てが完成次第、実際のタロットカードセットにするのが目標です。
その最初の個展が、11月にロスのGallery Nucleusにて開催されます。
オープニングには水野も参加しますので、お近くにいらっしゃる方は是非お立ち寄りください！

Last year, I created this illustration for a horror anthology book, DEATH IN THE MOUTH edited by Sloane Leong and Cassie Hart.
They are running a funding campaign to publish the second book now and if you pledge $30 or more, you can purchase the print of the artwork I did as an add-on for extra $30.
