This weekend in Portland: I'm taking part in a group show Kowaii Club curated by Mizna Wada with these tiny paintings!
I & Mizna have shared a gallery space twice in the past and I'm happy to get to work with her again along with other amazing artists.
"Kowaii" is a coined word which is a mix of Kawaii (cute) and Kowai (spooky/scary).

Phantasy Arcade is a unique art exhibition concept born out of quarantine with 25 artists.
Each artist created work for an original, non-playable, 1/6th scale arcade cabinet.
Musicians simultaneously created original music based on the artists' concepts.
The collection is a miniature arcade that evokes nostalgia for things that never were.
For the exhibition, I designed a cabinet based on my graphic novel, Pure Trance!

In-person opening reception has been cancelled due to recent surge in Covid cases, but you can now view/purchase all the pieces from the show and even listen to the original music on Nucleus website here.

25人のアーティストが、架空のアーケードゲームをイメージしてデザインしたミニチュア・ゲーム機のグループ展「ファンタジー・アーケード」がLAのGallery Nucleusにて開催中です。
水野は漫画「ピュア・トランス」を元にしたデザインを制作しました。
実際にゲームをプレイすることはできませんが、下の写真のようにライトが内臓されていて、オプションでブルートゥース・スピーカーをつけることもできます。
各作品のために、オリジナルのゲーム音楽も制作されました。

KochxBos Gallery in Amsterdam is celebrating their 15 year anniversary with a big group exhibition called 'Wide Awake' and I'm honored to take part with two paintings from 2018 and 2019!
The show includes new work by Claire Partington, Dadara, Bethany de Forest, Ray Ceasar and the official launch of KochxBos Station with a podcast covering the highlights of 15 years KochxBos.

Last Gasp is one of the largest and oldest publishers and purveyors of underground books and comics in the world. They've published the English edition of my graphic novels and coloring book. Check them out here!

This show is part of 111 Minna Gallery's 3-Day Fun-Raiser online festival that takes place from August 6th to 8th.

Last Gaspは、アンダーグラウンドな本や漫画の出版で最も古く、最も知られている出版社のひとつで、水野も長いことお世話になっており、ピュア・トランス、ファンシージゴロ・ペルの英語版、水野のぬりえ本などを出版してもらっています。
この展示は、サンフランシスコの111 Minna Galleryのオンライン・フェスティバルの一部として開催されます。
作品は現在、全てこちらで御覧になれます。
