I'm taking part in Dorothy Circus Gallery's big summer group exhibition in London & Rome, 'House of the Rising Light' featuring 42 artists!

The show is focusing on the artists who are deeply connected to and inspired by the cultural roots of the Asian continent.
I'm showing my 2015 painting Pomegranate and a retouched pencil drawing, Eggs.

The show will open on 30th July 2020 at DCG Rome & London and will be on view until 18th September 2020.

Please follow the safety guidelines below

1) If you are feeling unwell, or are having any symptoms of Covid-19, please refrain from visiting the gallery.

2) Visitors will be required to practice physical distancing in the gallery.

3) Visitors are required to wear disposable or fabric face masks while in the gallery.

4) A maximum of 2 visitors at a time will be allowed in the gallery for 15 minutes of viewing time.
*Priority booking will be offered to collectors and press.

My pieces are currently at London gallery but the painting will be showing at the Rome gallery in early August.

Gallery Nucleusで開催されるグループ展「MerMay (マーメイ）」のために描いた作品「At The Fair」です。

MerMayは、アニメーターのTom Bancroft氏がインスタグラム上で始めたチャレンジで、5月に（できれば毎日）アーティストが人魚の絵を描き、#MerMayのハッシュタグと共に投稿するというもので、人魚(mermaid)と5月（May)を組み合わせた造語です。

昔描いた人魚の漫画がかなりダークな感じだったので、今回は楽しい作品にしようと思い、人魚と魚ギャルが、お祭りでりんご飴とタピオカミルクティを楽しんでいる様子を描きました。

ギャラリーのサイトからexclusive online previewに申し込むと、オープニング前に全ての作品を閲覧することができます。

This painting 'Silent Rage' will be in Art Collector Starter Kit, the big annual group exhibition at Corey Helford Gallery starting on December 14th.

I love depicting angry women probably because I grew up in the Japanese culture where women are expected to be submissive and I was frustrated about it. Anger is supposed to be a negative feeling but I’ve always thought that it often works as a powerful energy source to create beautiful art.

There'll be all new 12"x12" works from an exciting line-up of new and established New Contemporary artists in the show. Check it out if you are in LA!

今週土曜日（12/14）から、ロスのCorey Helford Galleryで開催されるグループ展「The Art Collector Starter Kit VI 」に出品するペインティング「Silent Rage」です。

子供の頃から常にうっすら怒っていますので、怒っている女性を描くのは楽しい...!

このグループ展は毎年行われているイベントで、新旧様々なアーティストが12インチ四方（約30.5cm)の作品を出品します。LAにいらっしゃる方はぜひ！

水野のキャラ・ミミちゃんが、いろんな食べ物を楽しんでいる作品を12点描きました。

A few days before LICAF's opening, a free exhibition of art by me goes on display at the University of Cumbria‘s Brampton Road Campus in Carlisle, Cumbria – and I will be at the gallery for about an hour on 10th October.

The exhibition is separated into three categories, paintings, drawings/illustrations, comics and figure designs.

My main works in each category will be displayed chronologically so you can see how my art has evolved in the 23 years of my career.

LICAF開催の数日前より、同じ湖水地方Carlisleにあるカンブリア大学のギャラリーにて、水野の展覧会が始まります。（入場無料）

10日には、水野も1時間ほど在廊する予定です。

「ペインティング」「ドローイングとイラストレーション」「コミック」「フィギュアデザイン」の4つのカテゴリーに分類された作品が年代順に展示され、水野の23年のアーティスト活動の中で作品が変化していった様子を見ていただけると思います。

展示期間：2019年10月7日から10月25日まで、10am - 4pm（日曜休館）
